Our goal is to stop releasing harmful gases. We are working on reducing our emissions. We also consider the effects of climate change and how we can reduce them when planning our business strategies. We review and improve how we operate our facilities to reduce emissions, and we work with others to make bigger changes in the industry.
Digitally Decarbonizing
It's important for businesses to track their progress in reducing carbon emissions to help fight climate change. We measure our carbon footprint from direct and indirect sources, including energy we buy and those in our supply chain, using a tool called Terrascope. This helps us get more detailed information and figure out where we need to take action in our facilities and farms.
A Global Sourcing Network & Trading Expertise
Our palm oil supply chain originates from Ecoplatinum Group’s plantations in Gabon and is fully traceable and produced under RSPO defined terms.
We also source from third-party suppliers in Indonesia and Malaysia. We work with our suppliers to uphold our commitments under our Responsible Palm Oil Policy. We prioritise buying from RSPO members and 90 per cent of our palm oil is sourced from suppliers who are RSPO members. Any supplier found to be non-compliant will be investigated and corrective actions sought, and we’ll cease trading with suppliers that don’t implement corrective actions within 12 months.
