The trust and support of the communities where we work and operate is essential. We provide employment opportunities, contribute to economic prosperity, and provide essential support to local communities.
We do so through a range of community initiatives, such as our partnership with Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and BoPinc, as well as Côte d’Ivoire’s National Nutrition Programme (PNN). Additionally, we provide in-kind and financial support to strengthen local infrastructure, as well as access to nutrition, healthcare, and education.
Helping farmers stay healthy and eat well.
We help farmers and their families be healthier by providing good nutrition and preventing diseases. This makes their communities stronger and more prosperous. Our work in Peru improves people’s well-being and gives them access to better nutrition.
Fortifying food for communities.
We help people who don't have enough food to eat. The COVID-19 pandemic has made this problem worse. We give nutrition and health help to our employees and people in our communities all over the world. We work to make sure people have enough healthy food to eat, especially in African cities. Together with Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and BoPinc, we made a book to teach people about nutrition. It talks about important foods for adults and babies. We work with Côte d’Ivoire’s National Nutrition Programme (PNN) to help people in communities that make rubber. We teach more than 200 people about the importance of breastfeeding.
